Spatially resolved spectroscopy of WR ring nebulae. III. Newresults and chemical properties of the sample.
Abstract
The paper presents detailed high-spatial-resolution spectroscopy of seven WR ring nebulae, observed at several telescopes in both hemispheres. These are Anon (MR 26), Anon (MR 100), G 2.4 + 1.4, L 69.8 + 1.74, NGC 3199, RCW 104, and S 308. Using line diagnostic diagrams, it is found that photoionization is the main excitation source in the sample. Physical conditions and chemical abundances are derived for as many of the observed slit positions as possible in each nebula.
