Investigation of homogeneous and heterogeneous condensation in coflowing turbulent isobaric vaporair jets
Abstract
The paper presents results of a numerical study of coflowing turbulent isobaric vaporair jets with homogeneous and heterogeneous condensation. Calculations were performed using a mathematical model consisting of equations of gas dynamics and kinetics, thermodynamic relationships, and equations of the epsilone turbulence model. The averaged value of the rate of homogeneous nucleation was determined taking into account the probability density function of the passiveadmixture concentration.
