Struceng & Femcad - Structural engineering and optimization
Abstract
This volume contains chapters on mathematical modeling and analysis technques; industrial application of structural analysis; nonlinear analysis of large deformation; concrete, composite, and plastic; CAD-FEM coupling and meshing; dynamic analysis, vibration, fatigue, and fracture; and analysis of selected structures. Individual papers include those on automatic solid modeling applying graphical pattern recognition techniques, a parallel linear superposition method for solving linear models, a finite element analysis of single-fiber pull-out test, buckling of geometrically nonlinear frames, and a new plastic node model for the plastic analysis of plates and shells. Attention is also given to the fallacy of truss analogy theory for reinforced concrete beam, a probabilistic structural analysis of geothermal drilling batteries, a simulation of cracking and failure of concrete structures, and the mechanism of deformation of shear membrane exposed to lateral forces from two sides.
