Effect of the optical thickness of a radiating droplet jet on its thermal characteristics
Abstract
A method for calculating the optical thickness of a radiating droplet jet is developed. Formulas and graphs are given which make it possible to determine the characteristics of optically thin radiating jets. Data are presented which fully characterize optically nontransparent jets.
