On the temperature role in the tunneling process at the cold fusion
Abstract
The temperature dependence of the hydrogen isotopes cold fusion tunneling rate is estimated using a model of screened Coulomb interaction potential between the isotopes. The temperature dependences for the logarithm of the tunneling rate are calculated for pp-, pd-, pt-, and dd-processes at different screening radii. The probable role of pp-reactions is discussed.
