Numerical study on unsteady flow around oscillating hydrofoil
Abstract
The optimal conditions and governing parameters for thrust-producing motions of a flexible oscillating 2D hydrofoil are studied. Analysis of the first results shows that oscillation parameters such as reduced frequency, pivot point, and oscillation amplitude have a remarkable influence on the flow pattern and dynamic response.
