Time Resolved Lidar Fluorosensor operating from helicopter
Abstract
The design and the principles of operation of the Time Resolved Lidar Fluorosensor (TRLF) developed for environmental surveys from helicopters are described. Results are presented on validation tests showing that the TRLF is particularly suitable for obtaining data on the characteristics of oil spills on the sea surface and for the analysis of water column parameters. A diagram illustrating the conceptual layout of TRLF is presented.
