Numerical modeling of acoustic scattering by an elastic body - Application to a thin cylindrical shell
Abstract
A 3D numerical model for dynamic response and acoustic radiation of an elastic body in the medium frequency range is presented. The model is applied to a thin cylindrical shell immersed in a fluid. Results demonstrate that the numerical model permits positioning the resonances and antiresonances in the frequency band studied.
