A generalized multi-block version of INS3D
Abstract
A multiblock version of NASA's INS3D which permits the user to compute flows in arbitrary geometries without code modifications is developed. Solution continuity across block interfaces was achieved through automatic communication among adjacent blocks. Overlapping layers of grid points were employed in this process. It is found that solution accuracy and convergence histories are comparable to equivalent single-block cases.
