Undulatory airflow over the Spanish southern central highplain with northern winds
Abstract
The occurrence of soarable undulatory airflow in the southern lee of the Sistema Central (Spain) with northern winds in the period Jan. 1979 to Mar. 1984 is studied. Weather charts, soundings and pilot reports are used. An average of eleven cases per year is found, mainly concentrated in fall, winter and spring.
