Emission of matter due to hypervelocity impact
Abstract
The emission processes associated with the interaction of high-velocity condensed particles with the surface of a target are investigated theoretically using modern numerical methods and computer technology. The velocity and energy distributions of the emitted matter are determined. The sensitivity of these distributions to the problem parameters is examined.
