Numerical solution of the problem of electromagnetic-wave diffraction by a three-dimensional inclusion
Abstract
An algorithm is presented for the numerical solution of the integral equations describing the diffraction of stationary electromagnetic oscillations by a local 3D inclusion. The initial integral equations are reduced to a system of linear algebraic equations by means of the collocation method and the approximation of the unknown densities by smooth finite functions. The derived system is solved numerically, and results of numerical experiments which illustrate the capabilities of the proposed algorithm are presented.
