Characteristics of antennas with spherical dielectric lenses
Abstract
Attention is given to an algorithm for solving the direct problem of electromagnetic-wave diffraction by a multilayer spherically symmetric structure excited by a generalized Huygens source. The proposed approach is based on the reduction of the initial vector problem to the solution of two scalar problems for the Debye potentials. The gain and radiation patterns of spherical dielectric lens antennas are investigated, and the numerical results are verified experimentally.
