Nonstationary insulating (cooling) film in a turbulent boundary layer
Abstract
A new approach is proposed for solving nonstationary transfer equations for a turbulent boundary layer, particularly, in the presence of propagating cooling films. An approximate analytical solution is obtained for the unsteady problem in the form of the product of two functions one of which is a function of time and longitudinal coordinate and the other represents a solution of the operator equation derived from the transfer equation by excluding the partial derivative of time ('stationary' solution).
