Experimental examination of heavy loaded axial fans with rotational symmetrical distortion of the inflow
Abstract
The effects of rotational symmetrical inflow distortions on three aerodynamic heavy loaded bladings are experimentally examined with various design flow coefficients and various design pressure coefficients. It is shown that an additional overall pressure loss in the ventilator installation is related to the production of various flow profiles. The variation of velocity energy in the test levels zero and six, is to be taken into account for rotational symmetrical distortion of the flow.
