Volt-ampere characteristics and thermal instability in the region of the resistive state of Y1Ba2Cu3O(7-delta) ceramics
Abstract
Volt-ampere characteristics have been determined experimentally for specimens of the high-temperature superconductor ceramic Y1Ba2Cu3O(7-delta) produced by the conventional ceramic process. The mechanisms of the observed thermal instability of the volt-ampere characteristics are examined with allowance for the heat transfer between the specimen and the ambient medium.
