Near-resonant holography
Abstract
Experimental results of a new technique for measuring species concentration by using two-wavelength holography are described. The refractive-index difference between two pulsed dye-laser wavelengths tuned to the near-resonant region of atomic sodium is recorded on a hologram. For small wavelength differences, the nonresonance aberrations are subtracted out.
