Spatial coherence of laboratory soft-x-ray lasers
Abstract
Employing a time-dependent model with counterpropagating beams and saturable gain, the degree of coherence for a range of X-ray lasers is calculated. From these results a scaling law is inferred that can be used to estimate the degree of coherence of a general class of X-ray lasers.
