A deconvolution method for use in small computers
Abstract
An extension of an existing method to defold spectra is presented. The expression to recover any broadening distribution folded with a Lorentzian line is derived on the basis of the Fourier analysis but its computation is done in real space. Both expressions, the one derived here and the one existing in the literature are applied to broadened simulated and experimental Mössbauer spectra, where both the Lorentzian signal and the broadening distribution were recovered under certain constraints of the method
