An electric-discharge XeCl excimer laser with long emission pulse
Abstract
An electric-discharge XeCl laser with a long optical pulse was developed on the basis of the commercially produced Model-1701 excimer laser. Optical pulses of 180 nsec and 250 nsec duration were obtained at energies of 140 mJ and 30 mJ, respectively. The laser was used in studies on the narrowing of the output radiation spectrum and for developing a single-frequency master oscillator.
