Phonons and the mechanism of high-temperature superconductivity
Abstract
Some general characteristics of the behavior of the vibrational spectra of various high-temperature superconductor compounds are established on the basis of an analysis of the results of optical, neutron, and tunneling experiments. The results of the study provide evidence of the phonon contribution to the mechanism of high-temperature superconductivity. Ways of optimizing the phonon and electron subsystems of high-temperature superconductors are discussed.
