Anisotropic turbulence
Abstract
The problem of the stability of small-scale fluctuations (vortices) for an incompressible fluid whose main flow is characterized by a high Reynolds number is investigated analytically. The analysis is performed from the standpoint of the construction of asymptotic solutions to the initial hydrodynamic equations for the boundary value problem.
