An integral method for a prolate spheroid 3D flow separation
Abstract
A 3D integral boundary layer approach is used and coupled with the streamline method for determining vortex-layer-type flow separation. The boundary layer parameters are solved using a 3D incompressible boundary layer equation. According to the streamline method, viscous streamlines are evaluated. As an example, a prolate spheroid is calculated, and a water tunnel visualization is made.
