High-resolution radar imaging
Abstract
The goal of this project is to formulate and investigate new approaches for forming images of radar targets from spotlight-mode, delay-Doppler measurements. These measurements can be acquired with a high-resolution radar-imaging operating with an optical- or radio-frequency carrier. Work in this reporting period has concentrated on our estimation-theory approach to forming high resolution images. This approach accounts for measurement noise and for the statistical properties of radar-backscatter data.
