Neutral atom deBroglie-wave interferometry
Abstract
A brief summary is provided of vibration isolation techniques and their application to neutral atom interferometry experiments. Naturally, the difficulty in achieving acceptable vibration isolation for any given experiment depends largely upon the noise sensitivity of the experiment. Since neutral atom interferometers may be configured to act as ultra-sensitive inertial sensors, their vibrational noise sensitivity is inherently high.
