Determination of the required number of steps in the machining of the elementary surfaces of parts
Abstract
Expressions are presented for determining the required number of machining steps for parts as a function of the surface machining precision. As an example, calculations are carried out for parts of VK8, VK6, T15K10, and T15K6 alloys. The expressions presented here can be used as the basis for developing specific algorithms for determining the number of machining steps for both rigid and flexible parts.
