Edge plasma study in Heliotron E
Abstract
The magnetic field configuration of Heliotron E can be controlled by additional toroidal field and/or vertical field. The change of the configuration, especially in the edge region, is experimentally confirmed by measurement of the edge plasma profile and by measurement of the vacuum magnetic surface with the beam impedance method.
