Laminar boundary layers in turbulent flows
Abstract
Flat plate laminar boundary layers were studied under the effect of the free stream turbulence whose intensity was changed from 0.05 to 3 percent. It is shown that two kinds of the nonstationary motion with strongly different lateral scales determine the structure of boundary layers.
