High temperature ceramic superconductors
Abstract
The principal objectives of this program are to demonstrate fabrication of high-temperature ceramic superconductors that can operate at or above 90 K with appropriate current density, J(c), in forms useful for application in resonant cavities, magnets, motors, sensors, computers, and other devices; and to fabricate and demonstrate selected components made of these materials, including microwave cavities and magnetic shields.
