Design of a GaAs FET frequency tripler (2.5-7.5 GHz) for the payloads of communication satellites
Abstract
A 2.5-7.5 GHz frequency tripler has been designed on the basis of experimental results for the NE-71083 transistor, measured by the load-pull harmonics technique. Optimization of the tripler operation in terms of conversion gain and power efficiency has been carried out.
