Parametric mechanism of the emission of fast charged particles in a crystal
Abstract
The phenomenon of the parametric X-ray emission of fast charged particles in a crystal is investigated analytically with allowance for the individual response of crystal electrons. It is shown that the consideration of the individual rather than collective response of crystal electrons leads to an additional emission with angular and spectral characteristics that are very different from those of parametric X-ray emission. The noncoherent polarization bremsstrahlung of a fast charge in a crystal is discussed.
