Acoustic microwave resonator based on a layered YAG-ZnO structure
Abstract
An effort has been made to realize maximum Q in an acoustic microwave Fabry-Perot resonator. Experimental results are presented on a resonator based on a layered YAG-ZnO structure. It is shown that, for low losses in the acoustic-line material, high Q can be realized only in the case of weak coupling between the resonator and the external circuit.
