SHF absorption in low magnetic fields in MnVMo oxide systems: possible new type of high-temperature superconductor
Abstract
We have used a highly sensitive contactless method for the identification of superconducting phases, based on the appearance of an intense “signal” in the region of low magnetic fields and a sharp increase in the noise level when the superconductor is placed in the cavity of an ESR spectrometer, and the sample temperature is decreased below Tc. Such SHF absorption has been discovered in MnVMo oxide systems with Tc∼110 K. If this would be a real superconducting system, then its content will not exceed 1% v/v because it is not detected by standard techniques, e.g., by the Meisner effect.
