Strong Langmuir turbulence and second harmonic spectra in a 1 µm laser-produced plasma
Abstract
Experimental results obtained from time-resolved second harmonic spectra for a 1.06 μm laser-produced plasma are presented. These results are explained with Langmuir strong turbulence showing various stages of a Langmuir wave collapse, namely, the subsonic and supersonic regimes and the Landau damping.
