Electrodynamics (2nd revised and enlarged edition)
Abstract
The fundamentals of classical electrodynamics are presented in a systematic manner. In addition to the traditional topics, the presentation of Maxwell-Lorentz electrodynamics includes a discussion of the superconductivity effect, magnetohydrodynamic waves, magnetic cumulation, and Vavilov-Cerenkov radiation. Relativistic concepts of space-time are examined. Particular attention is given to the relativistic formulation of conservation laws, field theory of mass, and tachyon theory.
