An oxygen-hydrogen model of the earth
Abstract
The origin and the formation of the terrestrial matter are discussed with special attention given to a model of the earth mantle as an oxidized shell surrounding a metal-hydride nucleus. The conditions for the formation of oxygenated planetary matter from hydrogenated cosmic matter are examined together with the nature of interaction between the matter components at the stage of the matter formation (i.e., the stage of H2 degassing and energy release). The geochemical processes involved in the formation of rocks during the mineralization of the earth's crust are examined with special attention given to theoretical basis for mineral-deposit prospecting.
