Molecular treatment of mutual neutralisation in slow Li++H- collisions
Abstract
A molecular treatment of the Li(+) + H(-) mutual neutralization process for center of mass energies in the range 25-5000 eV yields cross sections in very good agreement with absolute experimental data. Comparison is made of the relative accuracy and computational effort of ab initio and model potential methods in the evaluation of the relevant molecular data.
