On fluctuations of radio emission of the quiet atmosphere of the Sun.
Abstract
Fluctuations of radio emission of solar quiet regions are studied with the aim of detection of a number of parameters of wave processes, occurring in these regions. The observations were made at λ = 5.2 and 8.1 cm with the radio telescope THA-1500 in July - August 1963. Using the obtained data the crosscorrelation function and its spectrum have been calculated. Time spectra of power density are approximated by the function f-α, where α is in the interval 1.6 - 2.1 at λ = 5.2 cm and 1 - 1.7 at λ = 8.1 cm. Time delays of fluctuations have not been found at different wavelengths. A supposition is made that fluctuations of radio emission in the quiet atmosphere of the Sun are due to density disturbances in optical regions.
