An inverse problem for classical relativistic mechanics
Abstract
The inverse problem is solved for a relativistic classical point particle trapped in a confining potential. The integral equation for the period T(E) is inverted by a Laplacetransformation technique, and finally the explicit formula is solved for the potential without any approximations.
