Heat leak measurements in superconducting dipole magnet supports
Abstract
The methods and results of measuring heat leak in the UNK, superconducting (SC) dipole magnet with a warm magnetic shield are described. Proceeding from the thermal conduction of the materials used for fabrication of the SP magnet supports, the measured values for the heat leak in the supports and outlined the ways of its reduction are analyzed.
