Paramagnetic dielectric-metal and metal superconductor transitions in a quasi-two-dimensional organic complex (BEDT-TTF)2 Cu(NCS)2
Abstract
The temperature dependences of the resistance (at dc and 10 GHz), the magnetic susceptibility, thermal-emf, and anisotropy of a new organic superconductor (BEDT-TTF)2Cu(NCS)2 are measured. It is shown that, at T = 45 K, it undergoes an anomalous phase transition from the paramagnetic Mott-Hubbard dielectric state at high temperatures to a metallic state.
