On variations of polarization and brightness of V CVn.
Abstract
The results of polarization, brightness and colour-index (B-V) observations of V CVn during 1980 - 1986 are presented. The time variations of these parameters are examined. The changes of the wavelength dependence on phase of the 192d period are discussed. The correlation coefficient between heights of polarization maxima and depths of the corresponding light minima is 0.87. The cycle of slow polarization and light variations is 15 - 16 years, and not 10 - 11 years as it has been suspected from observations of 1966 - 1972.
