Temperature dependences of the specific heat, thermal diffusivity, and heat conductivity of gallium garnets (300-700 K)
Abstract
The thermophysical characteristics of synthetic garnet crystals were measured in the range from room temperature to 700 K using the regular regime method of the third kind. Data for complex-substituted crystals of intermediate composition are presented along with data for simple garnets. The results obtained are discussed from the standpoint of their consistency with the current theory of the specific heat and heat conductivity of crystal dielectrics.
