Distribution of atomic oxygen in the lower ionosphere
Abstract
The concentration of atomic oxygen in the 80-150-km height range is calculated from rocket-borne photometric measurements of glow intensity at 5577 A. The height variation curves of the atomic oxygen concentration are shown to agree well with the CIRA-72 and Iacchia models.
