Design of a computational experiment using input sample modification in studies of signal detection characteristics

A method for designing a computational experiment for studying signal detection characteristics is proposed which makes it possible to substantially simplify the practical implementation of a modified sample. Irrespective of the type of distribution of the input signal vector, the approach proposed here makes it possible to use a unified algorithm for calculating the weight coefficient and its derivative characteristics by appropriately selecting the shaping filter.
