A point source field in a randomly stratified medium. II - Energetic characteristics
Abstract
The dyadic Green function derived by resonance expansion is used to calculate the spatial distributions of the intensity and power fluxes for the fields produced by a point source in a randomly stratified medium. The resulting dependences suggest that there exists a fluctuation waveguide in the medium.
