Observation of the nonstationary Josephson effect in Y-Ba-Cu-O film bridges at temperatures up to 83 K
Abstract
The nonstationary Josephson effect was observed experimentally at 83 K in Y-Ba-Cu-O film bridges fabricated by a process that included pulsed laser vaporization of YBa2Cu3O(7-y), solidification of the sprayed layer, and annealing in oxygen. The volt-ampere characteristics of the bridges at 77 and 83 K, and their critical current vs temperature are presented. The results obtained indicate the possibility of achieving weak superconducting coupling using high-temperature superconductors with good Josephson properties, which makes them promising devices for radiophysical applications.
