Possible stimulation of superconductivity by electromagnetic radiation in Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O
Abstract
The impedance properties of the ceramic Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O are studied. A reduction in surface resistance is found in the superconducting state when the sample is exposed to microwave radiation. The effect is observed in a certain temperature interval (between 60 K and Tc) at a frequency of omega = 2pi x 3.6 x 10 to the 10th/s.
