A new type of mixed state with positive magnetization in high-temperature superconductors
Abstract
Ceramic and single-crystals of specimens of the YBa2Cu3O(7-delta) were investigated. It is shown that the magnetization of high-temperature superconductors cooled in an external magnetic field and held in this field at a temperature of 4.2 K acquires a positive sign with the passage of time. It is suggested that this behavior is due to the specific character of the initiation and evolution of the vortex structure in the high-temperature superconductor.
