Numerical analysis of heat transfer and friction in a nonstationary boundary layer
Abstract
A rigorous numerical method for the analysis of heat transfer and friction in a nonstationary boundary layer is presented which makes it possible to model and investigate different forms of nonstationary regimes with allowance for the combined effect of various perturbation factors on transfer processes in both laminar and turbulent flows. Turbulent flows are calculated by using a modified version of the Prandtl mixing path model. This approach is used to analyze the characteristics of transfer processes on an impermeable plate for two nonstationary regimes.
